About the Role
At Onyx 360, we are reimagining how industry designs, tests, and runs the systems that power the world — through simulation that connects imagination with reality. Our work bridges the digital and physical, turning engineering theory into real-world performance and solving critical challenges within the process industries.
We are seeking a Simulation Consultant to work hands-on with project teams while providing deep expertise and strategic guidance across Onyx 360’s simulation services. In this role, you will participate in project delivery, helping teams implement, maintain, and optimize complex simulation systems—from process modeling to control system integration—while also collaborating with the Director of Technology to identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and methods across projects.
This role is ideal for a technical master and mentor who thrives at the intersection of project delivery, system optimization, and team enablement—someone who can solve hard problems, guide engineers, and elevate the performance of both clients and project teams.

- Drive operational excellence by identifying risks, optimizing performance, and ensuring systems deliver measurable value.
- Contribute to client-facing activities, helping ensure solutions meet or exceed expectations.
Who You Are
- You are a technical master in simulation and industrial automation with hands-on project experience.
- You thrive both in the trenches and at the advisory table—working on delivery while mentoring teams and influencing workflows.
- You excel at practical problem-solving and optimizing deployed systems for reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- You enjoy collaborating across disciplines, bridging project delivery and technology strategy.
- You are motivated by impact—enabling teams to deliver higher quality results for clients and improving system performance over time.
