We are seeking a Lead Simulation Engineer to drive the design and deployment of cutting-edge simulation solutions that transform how plants operate, teams collaborate, and decisions get made. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of process simulation, control systems, and industrial automation – and who takes pride in mentoring others while solving hard problems.
As a technical leader, you’ll own the delivery of complex, cross-disciplinary projects that enhance safety, efficiency, and performance for some of the most demanding industrial environments. You’ll work closely with world-class engineers and automation experts to bring simulation to life — from concept to deployment — shaping how the next generation of industrial systems are designed, tested, and optimized.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of complex simulation solutions.
- Analyze project inputs such as PFDs, P&IDs, HMBs, and equipment data sheets.
- Integrate simulation software with control systems.
- Assign and manage tasks for simulation engineers to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct customer-facing activities including Acceptance Tests and demos.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development.
- Drive innovation by identifying and employing ways to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Continuously improve simulation tools and methodologies.
- Support strategic priorities and organizational goals.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or similar).
- 5+ years of experience in process simulation and/or control systems.
- Strong knowledge of dynamic process simulation software.
- Experience with Emerson, Rockwell, Honeywell, or other control systems.
- Familiarity with industrial processes typically found in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Life Sciences, Mining, etc.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and leadership abilities.
- Ability to mentor and assess technical talent.
- Proven problem-solving skills in model tuning and control system integration.
Preferred Skills
- Consulting expertise in industrial processes.
- Experience with virtualization, networking, and hosting.
- Experience with Python or other programming languages.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- Experience with regulatory control, advanced process control, and state-based control.
